welcome to my site!

my name is ezra - though we can save detailed introductions for the appropriate section. though i mindlessly scroll social media as much as the next guy, i wanted to build my own sort of haven for all of my little thoughts and interests. i've taken a strong liking to the simplicity of the old web, even though i was born about a month and a half after the release of the black parade (which makes me a legal adult by the way, if you didn't feel old enough reading the rest of this paragraph.) obviously it wasn't all great, but i'm drawn towards all kinds of ways people can authentically express themselves, and neocities offers a taste of that early 2000s expression. i used to code on scratch in elementary school and i knew a small amount of css from using myspace93 and spacehey, so i thought i'd give something like this a fair shot!
fair warning, i am prone to changing my layout frequently and randomly. i can be quite nebulous in my expression and sometimes changing my presentation can be theraputic. it probably means something telling about me that i choose not to think about.
